Our approach

Person-centred care, built around a life — not a routine.

We don't run on schedules. We run on conversations — about your mother's garden, your father's jazz records, the morning cup of tea that has to be a certain way. Care at Harborlight starts with listening.

What we offer

Care that grows with you.

Why Harborlight

Not-for-profit means more care, less margin.

Every dollar we make goes back into our homes — better food, more staff, livelier lifestyle programs, and the small comforts that make a place feel like somewhere rather than somewhere to be.

Registered nurses on site, 24/7

Every home has a senior clinical lead and round-the-clock nursing coverage.

Staff who stay

Our care team average tenure is 7 years — continuity of care is the kindest gift we can give.

Fresh, home-cooked meals

Chef-led kitchens catering to dietary, cultural and personal preferences every day.

Real lifestyle programs

Music, art, gardens, intergenerational visits, pet therapy — never a token bingo.

In their words

The team treated Mum like family. The gardens, the laughter, the little kindnesses — it gave us peace of mind every single day.

We toured six facilities before choosing Harborlight. The difference was the people — genuine, patient, and present.

I came for two weeks of respite and left feeling like I'd been on a holiday. The lifestyle program is wonderful.

Call us on 1800 HARBOR or fill in the contact form — we'll book a 45-minute tour at a time that suits, including weekends. Bring the family; bring questions.

Do you accept RADs, DAPs and combinations? +

Yes. We accept Refundable Accommodation Deposits, Daily Accommodation Payments, or a combination of both. Our admissions team can walk you through the options with no pressure.
